I was born in Bridgeport, CT, and visited four times.

There are several places to see in Bridgeport, CT. Here are some recommendations:

    1. The Barnum Museum – This museum celebrates the life and legacy of P.T. Barnum, the famous showman and founder of the Barnum & Bailey Circus. It houses a collection of artifacts, exhibits, and displays showcasing the history of the circus and its impact on American culture.
    2. Seaside Park – A beautiful waterfront park spread across 325 acres, Seaside Park offers stunning views of Long Island Sound. The park features playgrounds, walking and biking trails, sports fields, picnic areas, and a beach. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
    3. Beardsley Zoo – Located in Bridgeport’s Beardsley Park, this zoo is open year-round and is home to a variety of animals from around the world. It provides a fun and educational experience for children and adults alike, with exhibits featuring species such as wolves, primates, reptiles, and big cats.
    4. Bridgeport Bluefish Stadium – If you’re a sports fan, catch a baseball game at the Bridgeport Bluefish Stadium. The stadium is home to the Bridgeport Bluefish baseball team, which is a member of the Atlantic League. Enjoy a day of watching America’s favorite pastime in a family-friendly atmosphere.
    5. The Discovery Museum and Planetarium – This interactive museum is dedicated to promoting science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education. It features hands-on exhibits, a planetarium, and a Challenger Learning Center, where visitors can learn about space exploration.
    6. Captain’s Cove Seaport – This waterfront entertainment complex offers a variety of activities, including boat rentals, fishing charters, live music, and a selection of waterfront restaurants and shops. It’s a great place to spend an evening strolling along the waterfront and enjoying the harbor views.

These are just a few recommendations, but Bridgeport also has a rich cultural scene, historical sites, and dining options to explore.
